The Balmain Sports Zone is part of the Sydney East Primary Schools Sports Association.

Welcome back to 2024

We are happy to advise that all aspects of the Representative School Sport Pathway including State Championships can recommence from Term 1, 2024.

Weekly inter-school competitions, knock-out competitions and gala days may also recommence.

Our zone covers 19 schools in the Inner West, covering the council areas of Inner West, City of Sydney and Canada Bay. We are part of the Sydney East Association PSSA.

Annandale, Annandale North, Balmain, Birchgrove, Dulwich Hill, Forest Lodge, Fort Street, Glebe, Kegworth, Leichhardt, Lewisham, Marrickville, Nicholson Street, Orange Grove, Petersham, Rozelle, Stanmore, Ultimo and Wilkins

For information about sports played in the Zone, please initially make contact with the sports coordinator at your school. Other information can also be obtained through the convener of the sport. Contact details for the conveners of each sport are available on the contacts page of our website.

Balmain P.S.S.A. provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports in friendly interschool competitions. Our competitions are used to promote maximum participation and good sportsmanship. Some of our rules are modified to accommodate this.
